Zonta Club of Central Coast Tafe Scholarship for TAFE for Mature Age Female
Student eg. over 25. The Scholarship is Awarded in the first half of the
second year of the TAFE Course.

- Transcripts of academic records verified as true and accurate by the Hunter Institute of TAFE
- Evidence of Financial disadvantage eg. Centrelink statements, Bank statements.
- Evidence of Age eg. Copy of birth certificate.
- A 150-200 word explanation of how the scholarship will be used to
achieve the completion of your course.
Zonta Club of Central Coast Scholarship for a Female Student Sitting the HSC. The scholarship is a grant of $2,000 to be awarded in three stages:
- $500 at the beginning of Year 12
- $500 at the beginning of Term 2 Year 12
- $1,000 at the commencement of a tertiary course upon completion of year 12.
The grant is to be used for the
completion of your course in such ways as:
- Additional Tutoring
- Attending enrichment courses and experiences
- Books and subscriptions to enrich areas of study
- Computer materials specifically related to areas of study
The successful applicant must agree
to give reports to Zonta Club of Central Coast at the end of Term 1 in Year 12
and upon acceptance into tertiary course in the year following the completion
of HSC.
To be eligible the applicant must be:
- Female student currently enrolled in year 11 at one of the three selected High Schools selected by Zonta each year.
- An Australian Citizen.
- Continue enrolment at one of the selected Central Coast High
Schools and complete the HSC the following year.
- Have a goal of studying at Tertiary level.
- Provide evidence of having done something for other people in the
public area.
- Lodge a written application covering the following criteria.
Criteria to be covered:
- A written application detailing your tertiary aspirations upon completion of HSC. A demonstrated clear sense of the value of the scholarship, and a demonstrated awareness of the needs of your local community.
- A copy of your Preliminary School Report verified as a true and
accurate copy by your school principal.
- Any document verifying that you have done something for other
people in the public area.

Failure to address ALL of the above
criteria or to attach ALL of these documents will mean that your application
will NOT be considered by the panel.
All applicants must be prepared to be
interviewed by a panel of three Zontians to discuss with them the criteria for
the award of the scholarship. The scholarship winner will also be invited to
speak to the whole Club about her future goals and the value of the scholarship
to assist her in achieving these.

School Principal by Friday of the second week of November.

Jane Klausman Women in Business Scholarship
SCHOLARSHIP DESCRIPTION. Established in 1998 from a generous bequest by Jane M. Klausman, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York USA, and the 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian, the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship is awarded annually to women pursuing undergraduate or Master's degrees in business management. Zonta International awards scholarships of US$1,000 each at the district level and twelve international scholarships in the amount of US$5,000 each. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are awarded annually and may be used for tuition, books or living expenses at any university, college or institution offering accredited business courses and degrees.ELIGIBILITYWomen pursuing a business or business-related degree who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field, are eligible. Online students are also eligible. Members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation are not eligible to apply for the Scholarships. APPLICATION PROCESS. The Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship program operates at the club, district and international levels of Zonta International. To apply, please contact http://zontadistrict24.org/CentralCoast.htm. Applicants must be nominated by a local Zonta Club. Applications selected by Zonta Clubs are sent to their respective Zonta District Governors. A district evaluating committee selects one applicant per district to submit to Zonta International Headquarters. The Zonta International Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Committee selects twelve international recipients from the district applicants. DEADLINE. Applications must be completed and presented to Zonta clubs according to the club's assigned deadline. A club recipient is selected, and the application is presented to the District Governor by 1 July. The district recipient is selected, and the application is presented to Zonta International Headquarters by 1 September. International recipients will be contacted by their Zonta club leader by mid October. FUNDING SUPPORT Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships are made possible through investment income generated by the Klausman bequest, and by generous contributions from Zontians, Zonta clubs and friends of Zonta.
